PDF Mixo is designed to keep document processing on your device wherever the product says a tool runs locally.

Document processing
PDF and Word files opened in the editor are processed in your browser. PDF Mixo does not intentionally upload the document contents to its application database. Browser features such as local recovery may store a working copy on your device. Clearing site data removes that browser copy.
OCR and language data
OCR runs in your browser. The OCR component may download language model files needed for recognition; your document image is not intentionally sent to PDF Mixo for OCR processing.
Accounts and Career Studio
You can sign in with a verified email account protected by Firebase Authentication or continue with ChatGPT. PDF Mixo receives the account identifier, email address, and optional display name needed to operate your account. Firebase may process authentication and security data under its own service terms. Career Studio drafts remain in your browser unless you explicitly choose Save to account. Saved projects, job applications, plan status, and usage records are then stored in the service database.
Operational data
The hosting provider may process request metadata such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, security signals, and error logs to deliver and protect the service. PDF Mixo does not currently sell personal information or run behavioural advertising.
Retention and deletion
Local drafts remain until you clear them or browser storage. Signed-in users can delete saved projects individually or use the account deletion control to remove their PDF Mixo profile, career projects, job applications, and usage records. Infrastructure security logs may be retained for a limited operational period by the hosting provider.
Your choices
You may use the document editor without creating an account, avoid cloud saving, clear local site data, sign out, or delete account data. Do not place highly sensitive data in Career Studio unless it is necessary for your own document.
Changes
This policy may change as paid plans, additional storage, analytics, or third-party services are introduced. Material changes will be reflected on this page before those features are launched.
